Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament: A Royal Feast and Epic Tournament Located at 149 Polito Ave in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is a unique and exciting dinner theater experience. Since students will be out for the summer soon, definitely keep an eye on the Medieval Times NJ website for student discounts. That is cool because it is one of our favorite movies! As my son Michael mentioned, it reminded him of Heath Ledger’s role in A Knight’s Tale. Overall, it was a great opportunity to be taken back in time as a family. The interactive nature of the show definitely made it keep our attention. The atmosphere in the arena really was electric as each section cheered on their champions during the various fast-paced skits. It was fun cheering him on during his sword fights and jousts with his competitors. ![]() The live show: Our section’s knight, the red one, won the tournament. □ The meal also came with drinks – Pepsi, water and coffee. We all enjoyed eating the chicken, corn on the cob, potato wedges, garlic bread and apple turnovers with our hands for the sake of authenticity. To our pleasant surprise, the four-course feast was really flavorful. The food: This was “my guys” favorite part because it was so plentiful. – Birthday announcements: This would be a great place to celebrate a birthday in a special way because the whole arena cheers for those who are celebrating their birthdays. – The falcon flying around at the beginning of the show For a couple of hours my family was transported back into ancient times…and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
